The Third Annual Run It Walk It for Chris Brown takes place Sunday, Feb. 14, on the Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) campus. Chris was an IPFW student majoring in public and environmental affairs and a member of the Men’s Cross Country Team when he lost his battle with cancer in December 2007.
Registration and check-in begin at noon at the Gates Center with the 5K prediction run and walk beginning at 2 p.m. A silent auction will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. and there will be live music, food, announcements, and awards.
Registration is $15 per person; free t-shirts will be given to the first 300 registrants. Proceeds from Run It Walk It will benefit the Chris Brown Endowed Scholarship Fund. The event is sponsored by IPFW, Three Rivers Running Company, and asics®.
