Breathe a big sigh of relief and read these celebrity gossip tidbits! They're sure to make you feel better about the world (of celebrities, anyway) on a February Wednesday.
First of all, Tila Tequila has quit Twitter. At least, she's quit for now. Seriously! Her Twitter account is gone. Tila has announced such life-changing events such as her pregnancy, her engagement to Casey Johnson, Johnson's death, her plan to adopt Haitian orphans, and her self-imposed suicide watch, on Twitter. Not to mention, she's also hinted at her "babydaddy" and just generally entertained/horrified people. Oh, Tila Tequila, we'll miss you. Or not. I'm sure she'll be back. How else will she shamelessly self-promote?
Speaking of quitting things, Fall Out Boy has broken up. Gossipy sites who actually care about Fall Out Boy have been speculating about it for ages, but Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump confirmed it. Does that mean I don't have to hear their annoying emo rock on the radio anymore? Oh wait, a band breaking up doesn't mean that all their music disappears. Dang.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might be on a bit of a break from their openly secret relationship. You know, so they can work instead of just canoodling between takes on the "Twilight" set. I think both actors are better than they appear to be in "Twilight" (because "Twilight," being a series of pretty bad teen romance movies, doesn't give them much to do with their acting chops), and I'm glad to see the pair moving on and maybe actually making decent movies. But don't worry - there are still two more "Twilight" movies, so they'll be together again soon enough. Oh joy.
BRAD PITT AND ANGELINA JOLIE AREN'T BREAKING UP! Oh, whoops, sorry for the all-caps, but I'm just so thrilled that the wondercouple isn't breaking up - at least not yet! The couple attended the Director's Guild of America awards together Saturday and were "very giggly," an onlooker observed. Also, Brad Pitt trimmed his ugly, scraggly nest of a beard, and presumably combed out the bugs that looked like they were making a home in it. THANK GOODNESS!
There's wedding news all over the place, and when a sweet little starlet gets hitched, it's always a good thing! Kirsten Bell just got engaged to boyfriend Dax Shepard. Their secret to a successful relationship? Healthy communication ... and snuggling! Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood just wants to have fun at her wedding to hockey player Mike Fisher. Well, duh. I'd hope so, or what's the point of having a wedding? You might as well just elope! Of course, being stinkin' rich probably helps - you can just pay someone to set everything up! And, finally, Katy Perry and Russell Brand haven't started planning their wedding yet, but they want it to be low-key and fun, with people they love. Brand also said (hopefully jokingly) that the wedding is going to be clothing-optional. I wonder if any magazines will pay money for photos of those nuptials?
