The School of Health Sciences at the University of Saint Francis will host the fifth event in the Living Healthier Series, Yoga: Relax, Restore, Renew, on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the North Campus, 2702 Spring Street.
Session leader Dani McGuire, an instructor at the Kachmann Mind Body Institute, has practiced yoga for more than 10 years. She is registered with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Dani is committed to forming a partnership with each of her students to serve them in finding peace, health, and a greater sense of well being wherever they may be in this moment.
McGuire will show participants how they can reduce stress—while bringing wellness, health and balance into their lives—through the ancient practice of yoga.
Healthy snacks will be served at 6 p.m. Admission is a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Community Harvest Food Bank. For more information, call 399-7700, ext. 8501.
