Rotary District 6540 (northern Indiana is now seeking applicants for its 2010 Group Study Exchange program. This unique international travel opportunity is for four non-Rotarian Team Members who are professionals in the performing arts. The purpose of the exchange is to provide an opportunity for local performers to observe performing arts as practiced abroad. It also gives them time to study another country, its people, traditions and institutions in a hand-on, interactive and deeply personal environment. The program provides fellowship opportunities for the team members to meet, communicate and live with in-country hosts.

Qualified applicants MUST submit a completed application to the Rotary District 6540 GSE Committee, including an Employer’s Endorsement Statement. All applicants must be a non-Rotarian between 25 - 40 years of age in good health and professionally employed for at least 2 years as a performance artist within northern Indiana. Immediate family members of current Rotarians are excluded from participating.

Team members are only responsible for personal & incidental expenses, including host family gifts. They must have a valid passport and the required/recommended immunizations. Rotary International provides transportation to/from host district and the receiving district in Guanajuato, Mexico provides the in-country ground travel package.
