Four of the top bands in Northeast Indiana will be rockin’ the home of the Tincaps during the Parkview Cycling Festival. The Downtown Improvement District and Men of Steel Racing will present the DID Concert Saturday, July 11, at a price everyone can afford – absolutely FREE.
“We’re delighted to be a part of this new event,” says Rich Davis, President of the Downtown Improvement District. “The free concert will add even more excitement to what promises to be a fun weekend in downtown Fort Wayne.”
The four bands featured in the DID Concert include Brother, Teays Vein, Lee Miles and the Illegitimate Sons, and the Todd Harrold Band. The bands will hit the stage from 2-8 p.m.
“These four bands not only have a big following in our area but either have opened or will open for some national acts this summer,” says event promoter Jim Kruse, founder of Men of Steel Racing. “Thanks to DID, we’ll be able to enjoy a day of great music free of charge.”
The first-ever Parkview Cycling Festival will also feature seven races sanctioned by USA Cycling. Racing begins Saturday, July 11 at 1pm.
